The B&B La Stella del Viandante is run by a family, Mrs. Dina (my mother) and Maria Grazia (the daughter).
The house belonged to my grandparents and has been specifically renovated to accommodate travelers.
We are happy to share with you, if you wish, the legend of the Madonna della Stella, which not only gives its name to our B&B, but is also one of the main folk attractions of the month of October.
The place is located just 6 km from the wonderful Ionian coast and is the perfect base to explore the main tourist attractions of the area. You can visit the fascinating rock settlements of Mottola and Massafra, the suggestive gravines of Laterza, Massafra, and Palagianello, the rich archaeological sites of Magna Graecia, and the Taranto Museum. Additionally, you can immerse yourself in the beauty of the Itria Valley, with its enchanting cities of Martina Franca, Ostuni, and Alberobello, or discover the nearby Lucania with Metaponto, Matera, and the Pollino National Park.
There will be no parking problems for your car near our Bed and Breakfast.
For sports lovers, a few minutes from the property, you will find an ideal route for jogging or mountain biking, immersed in nature among citrus and olive trees. If you are adventurous, B&B La Stella del Viandante will be happy to recommend alternative routes to discover sites of landscape and archaeological interest.
